The ECSS-Q-ST-60-14C establishes that an electronic part can be mounted within 15 years from the original date code. On the other hand, after 7 years a lot quality control activity called relife must be performed before mounting the parts.
The purpose of this test is to consolidate these components and confirm their usability.
